Following a whirlwind year, which included the release of her new album, Wildcard, Miranda Lambert celebrated Christmas with her husband Brendan McLoughlin in her home state of Texas.
The superstar and her new hubby got in the Christmas spirit by coordinating outfits with her brother and his significant other. In a photo shared to Lambert’s Instagram, the two couples donned festive plaid shirts and posed together in front of a Texas state flag.
“Merry Texmas Y’all,” the “Bluebird” singer captioned the photo. She also added in the hashtag #soPLAIDtobehome.
The Instagram post also showcased a photo of Lambert and McLoughlin with one of their dogs as well as a collage of the “McLoughlin Herd” (aka their many horses, cats, dogs and bunnies).
Although they celebrated Christmas in Texas with Lambert’s family, the couple now splits their time between Tennessee and New York. Lambert said she has a new appreciation for New York City after spending more time in the “Big Apple” at the couple’s Manhattan apartment.
Soon, the couple will ditch their rural farm and big-city apartment for tour bus as Lambert is gearing up to launch her 2020 Wildcard Tour on January 16. The 27-date trek wraps May 9.
