Miranda Lambert’s husband, Brendan McLoughlin, took to social media to celebrate his wife’s 42nd birthday with a touching letter honoring her adventurous spirit and fearless nature.

Alongside the heartfelt message, the post included a slideshow of photos of Lambert that capture some of their adventures together, from horseback riding to trying delicious food, backstage moments, golfing and more.

His words were full of weight, honesty, and love as he poured his heart out to her.

The message read, “Happy Birthday to the most loving, talented and caring person I’ve ever met @mirandalambert . You had said yesterday that you read something that really resonated with you, “Don’t be afraid to be a beginner.”’

Brendan went on to celebrate the country star’s willingness to embrace new challenges in her everyday life.

“From following your dreams of becoming a cowgirl, to picking up golf and competing in the Ryder Cup. You show me every day how fearless you are, how willing you are to jump into things even if it may take you out of your comfort zone.”

“The world is a better place because of you. I love you and I hope you have an amazing birthday. 42 looks good on you🥳🥳,” he concluded.

Lambert jumped in the comment section to give a heartfelt response, writing “Thanks honey I love you.”

The “Actin’ Up “ singer and her other half are always finding ways to show their love and support for one another. They first connected in the fall of 2018 when Lambert performed on ABC’s Good Morning America. At the time, Brendan was working security on set of the television show and is also retired from the NYPD.

From that moment on, they continued to get to know each other and develop a relationship mostly out of the public eye. Then in February 2019, Lambert surprised fans with the news that they had tied the knot just a few weeks prior.

“In honor of Valentine’s Day I wanted to share some news. I met the love of my life. And we got hitched! My heart is full. Thank you Brendan Mcloughlin for loving me for…. me,” she shared, announcing their milestone.

They have experienced many more important stepping stones since then, from making their red carpet debut at the ACM Awards to traveling to new destinations and supporting each other through their respective endeavors.

McLoughlin has also made cameos in several of Lambert’s music videos, including “If I Was A Cowboy,” “Settling Down,” and “Tequila Does (Telemitry Remix).”

After almost seven years of marriage, the three-time GRAMMY winner revealed how she and her other half have been able to keep the romance alive through it all. She explained that the key to it all is making an effort to enjoy quality time together even admit her incredibly hectic career.

“We kind of live on a date, honestly,” Lambert told E! News. “We really spend a lot of time together. We’re like best friends, so even when there’s time apart, we really find a way to connect and always have date nights, which could just be watching a movie on the couch, but really spend time together.”

They also make sure to take advantage of the rare moments when Lambert isn’t in the studio or on a tour and traveling to destinations. Lately, they have enjoyed soaking up the scenery of Arizona, but every now and then they are able to step outside the U.S., like last year’s vacation to Italy.

Fans might get to catch a glimpse of the lovebirds on the red carpet of the 2025 CMA Awards, taking place on Wednesday November 19. While it’s not conformed that Brendan will be in attendance, Lambert is heading into the night with her 18th career nomination for Female Vocalist of the Year. This is a historic nod as it officially makes her tied with the all-time record holder for the category, Reba McEntire.

Following the star-studded event, Miranda Lambert will deliver two more shows before wrapping up for the year. Her remaining dates include HARDY’s Country vs. Cancer Benefit concert in Nashville on December 2 and a performance in Thackerville, OK on December 26.
