Miranda Lambert’s first-ever residency in Las Vegas is just around the corner and her husband Brendan McLoughlin is set to support her all the way.

Ahead of her recent win for ACM Triple Crown Award, the singer and her husband caught up with ET’s Cassie DiLaura on the red carpet of the 15th Annual Academy of Country Music Honors. McLoughlin explained that he won’t be missing anything when it comes to Lambert’s upcoming Velvet Rodeo residency.

“Every single night I’ll be watching her do what she does best,” he shared.

The couple is set to head to Vegas this month to start rehearsals for the show that will include outfit changes and a setlist featuring solo acoustic songs along with tracks from her seven No.1 albums and her latest project, Palomino

“We’re just honing in on everything, but I’m very excited,” Lambert said. “It’s kind of like the style I’ve been doing lately, just country western with a lot of rhinestones and fringe, and some fire maybe, so, very excited about that.”

When it comes to the setlist, she previously shared that it has been a challenge to find a way to transition from “’Kerosene’ to ‘Palomino’ in the most artistic way possible.” Fans should note that no two shows are expected to sound the same.

During a recent Q&A on her Instagram stories, one fan inquired about how this set of shows will look different than her arena concerts.

Lambert responded, “It’s a concert at another level. Since we don’t have to travel we can do a lot of cool things with the production we couldn’t do at a normal show. The music still is at the heart of it all tho.”

Another fan asked which residency has been her favorite to watch in preparation.

She shared that she attended a few of her fellow legendary country stars’ Las Vegas shows. “I took a trip to see Shania, Brooks & Dunn and George [Strait]. It was inspiring to see them all.”

The “Palomino” singer’s upcoming residency will be held in the 7,000 seat Zappos Theater inside Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, that sits as the centerpiece of the famed Las Vegas Strip. This venue has also been home to shows by John Legend, Shania Twain, The Doobie Brothers, Scorpions and Nine Inch Nails.

Lambert, Live Nation Las Vegas and Caesars Entertainment previously announced that $1 of every ticket purchased to Miranda Lambert: Velvet Rodeo The Las Vegas Residency at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino will be donated to Lambert’s MuttNation Foundation. This nonprofit has raised over $6 million since its inception in 2009. Their mission is to promote the adoption of rescue pets, support animal shelters across the country, advance spay & neuter and assist with the transport of animals during times of natural disaster. Miranda Lambert announced 24 dates of the Velvet Rodeo residency, which kicks off on September 23 and runs through early 2023.
