“I can’t believe the If I Know Me Album was released 4 years ago today,” Wallen shared on Instagram stories. “Little flashback to the short, spikey haired kid lol. Thank you for loving it as much as I do. Y’all are the best.”

The 14-track project features Wallen’s four singles, including his debut single “The Way I Talk,” and the chart-topping hits,”Chasin’ You,” ”Up Down (feat. Florida Georgia Line)” and “Whiskey Glasses.”

“There’s a little bit of everything involved in my album,” Wallen shared upon releasing the album. “It’s pretty diverse. There’s a couple of songs on there that have honky-tonk leaning sounds. There’s a couple of songs that do lean more pop. And there’s just a couple of straight-up country jammers on there.”

“I like to think there’s a little bit of everything for everybody because that’s the way I am as well,” he added. “I like every kind of music, so I kind of wanted to incorporate it all.”

The album, which first went Platinum in September 2020, was certified 2X Multi-Platinum by the RIAA in January of 2022, signifying 2 million copies sold.

If I Know Me was produced by Joey Moi and released via Big Loud Records. The project peaked at No. 1 on both the Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart and Billboard’s Independent Albums chart as well as No. 10 on the Billboard 200.

According to MusicRow, Wallen’s If I Know Me returned to Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart in late April, adding 17k consumption.

Since releasing Dangerous: The Double Album, Wallen has shared “Don’t Think Jesus,” a deeply personal track written by Chase McGill, Jessi Alexander and Mark Holman with Wallen in mind. The emotion-filled song tells the story of a boy chasing whiskey and women while living life in the fast lane until he just couldn’t anymore.

He also appeared on Lil Durk’s “Broadway Girls” and Ernest’s “Flower Shops.”
