Following the massive success of his hit “Whiskey Glasses,” Morgan Wallen is back with a reflective new single – “Chasin’ You.”

The song, which is the third single from the rising star’s debut album, If I Know Me, shows fans a more serious side of the Tennessee native. He co-wrote the tune alongside Jaime Moore and Craig Wiseman.

Wallen’s signature vocals are put on display throughout “Chasin’ You” as he recalls a previous relationship and reveals that although he’s with someone new, his old flame is still on his mind.

“Chasin’ you like a shot of whiskey/Burning going down, burning going down/ Chasin’ you like those goodbye taillights/ Heading west to anywhere out of this no where town/ Chasin’ that freedom, chasin’ that feeling that got gone too soon/ Chasin’ that you and me, I only see in my rear view/ Yeah I’m laying here tonight holding someone new/ Still chasin’ you, still chasin’ you,” he croons in the chorus.

“Chasin’ You,” which officially hits country radio on July 29, is poised to be another massive hit for Wallen.

Wallen’s red-hot career is something the singer doesn’t take for granted. He recently opened up to Country Now about his success and the way fans are reacting to his music.

“I always loved music, but before [I moved to town and starting recording and playing songs], I’d never really thought about being an artist or singing,” he shared with us. “The fact that people are buying into me, and treating me so well, and caring — I already took it serious, but it makes me take it more serious…I sing, I write, we record. That’s just my life. I put every bit of passion I’ve got into it, because I’m so grateful to have this chance.”

Fans can catch Wallen on the road with Florida Georgia Line this summer on the duo’s 2019 Can’t Say I Ain’t Country Tour. Click HERE to see if he’s coming to a city near you.
