Morgan Wallen’s latest album just made history, beating a chart record previously held by Taylor Swift

According to Chart Data on Twitter, Wallen’s sophomore project, Dangerous: The Double Album, is now the country album with the most weeks (60) in the Top 10 in Billboard 200 chart history. This achievement breaks a record previously held by Swift’s Fearless, which sat in the Billboard 200 chart Top 10 for 59 weeks.

Dangerous: The Double Album was the best-selling album across all genres in 2021 with 3.2 million units sold, according to the year-end Billboard 200 chart.

Wallen’s project peaked at No. 1 for 10 consecutive weeks on the Billboard 200 chart and currently sits in the No. 3 spot with 42,000 equivalent units sold this week, bringing the overall units sold to 3.5 million+ since its release.

Dangerous, which was produced by Joey Moi, features his latest No.1 single “Sand In My Boots,” as well as fan-favorite hits like his new radio single, “Wasted On You,” plus “7 Summers,” “More Than My Hometown,” “Cover Me Up,” “865,” “Somebody’s Problem” and more.

The East Tennessee native is currently in the midst of his massive The Dangerous Tour in support of the project. The tour, which is the biggest country tour of 2022 and runs through October, recently sold-out with over 800,000 tickets sold, according to Up2DateCountry
