Morgan Wallen will be returning to the iconic set of Saturday Night Live (SNL) on Saturday, March 29.
On March 19, it was announced that Morgan Wallen will be the musical guest on Saturday Night Live for the March 29 episode. He will join a stellar lineup of performers on upcoming shows including Lizzo, Elton John, and Brandi Carlile. These artists will appear alongside hosts Mikey Madison, Jack Black, and Jon Hamm.
Wallen is set to appear on the same night as Mikey Madison, an Oscar winning actress. This will mark his second appearance on the show. He made his debut in December 2020, when he performed the fan-favorite tracks “7 Summers” and “Still Goin Down.”

The East Tennessee native made his debut in New York City two months after his original appearance was canceled by show producers due to him breaking 2020 protocols. At the time, Wallen was under fire for videos that surfaced online, showcasing him partying in Alabama despite the strict rules in place at the time that discouraged people from taking part in any kind of large gatherings.
After apologizing for his actions, Wallen was re-booked for the show and even made light of the situation in a hilarious skit. SNL turned the set into an Alabama bar scene where Wallen put his acting skills to the test alongside SNL guest host Jason Bateman, who played the role of Wallen from one month in the future. Bowen Yang later joined the skit as a version from Wallen two months into the future as well as Pete Davidson acting as a random guy at the bar who became the voice of reason and let the two Wallens know that everything would turn out okay.
Morgan Wallen’s upcoming appearances follows the exciting update he recently shared with fans, claiming his new album is “officially done” and that more news would be coming this week. He shared the news alongside a snippet of an unreleased song titled, “Just In Case,” which joins a slew of teaser clips the country star has been sharing across Instagram.
Fans hoping to see Morgan Wallen on stage in 2025 will have to snag tickets to his 2025 I’m The Problem Tour this summer as the 20-show trek, along with his inaugural Sand In My Boots Festival, will be the only opportunity’s to see him live this year.
Stars like Brooks & Dunn, Miranda Lambert, Thomas Rhett and Koe Wetzel along with emerging acts Gavin Adcock, Corey Kent, Ella Langley and Anne Wilson will join Wallen on select dates.
