Morgan Wallen has been teasing new music in his latest set of Instagram posts, but this time, it’s not the typical hard-hitting sound that fans are used to. Instead, he’s showing off a softer side to his artistry with a set of emotive ballads that place vulnerability at the forefront.
“I’m A Little Crazy”
The latest preview Wallen offered to fans was a song called “I’m A Little Crazy.” Wallen shared an audio file that emphasis the true talent of his gritty vocals against the gentle instrumentals as he paints a picture of someone who feels like an outsider. He makes it clear he’s self-aware of his own “crazy” but also knows that the world around him is even more “insane.” He’s expressing that no matter how tough things may feel, there’s always someone facing an even greater struggle.
“I keep a loaded 44 sitting by the bed/ for the jeepers and the creepers who ain’t right in the head/ Hope I never have to use it but you never know these days/ I’m a little crazy but the world’s insane/ Oh once you get to know me/ I’m a coyote in a field of wolves/ Oh I’m a red letter rebel/ But some become the devil when the moon is full/ Yeah the only thing keeping these tracks on the train/ Knowing I’m a little crazy but the world’s insane,” Wallen humbly sings in the clip.
“Superman”
That same kind of raw storytelling comes alive in another track he teased the week prior. This song, which he revealed is titled “Superman” is already winning over fans with its heartfelt message that was penned as a love letter to the country superstar’s young son, Indigo.
“Been trying for a long time to write a song I loved to my son. None of them ever feel good enough because of how perfect I want something like this to be. And not saying this is perfect, but I am very proud of it. Here is a clip, It’s called “Superman,” he captioned the post.

Owning Up To Past Mistakes
Right off the bat, Wallen begins owning up to his past mistakes that landed him in trouble, including the time a night he “got a little too drunk” and ended up with a mugshot and all the relationships he lost because he “just wouldn’t grow up.” Through every challenge he’s faced, Wallen has taken away valuable lessons and although he will never be able to change what he’s done, he hopes his son never thinks less of him as a result.
For the first time, listeners are getting raw glimpse into the Tennessee native’s journey as a father, who continues navigate through his flaws while carrying the weight of that extra responsibility. With this heartfelt track, Wallen is pouring out some heavy self-reflection and touching fans in a whole new way.
He sings, “Don’t always know my wrongs from rights/ Sometimes I’m my own worst enemy/ No I don’t always save the day /But you know for you, I’ll always try/ I do the best I can/ But superman’s still just a man sometimes.”
Morgan Wallen seems to be on a kick of vulnerable ballads, and fans are loving it. Many have even encouraged him to share more of his previously released songs in the same stripped-down manor as it allows them to connect with him in a more personal way.
Fourth Studio Album And 2025 Tour
It’s been two years since the “Last Night” singer dropped his One Thing At A Time album. Since unveiling this project, he’s gone on to drop songs like “Lies Lies Lies,” “Smile,” his latest No. 1, “Love Somebody,” and “I’m The Problem,” which serves as the title track to his fourth studio album.
With each of his new releases, as well as his latest teasers, leaning into the same slow tempo, it’s easy to wonder if his live shows will start to do the same. Fans will soon find out as the critically acclaimed act is set to launch his 2025 I’m The Problem Tour this summer.

The upcoming 20-show run will be the only opportunity to see Wallen live this year along with his inaugural Sand In My Boots Festival.
Stars like Brooks & Dunn, Miranda Lambert, Thomas Rhett and Koe Wetzel along with emerging acts Gavin Adcock, Corey Kent, Ella Langley and Anne Wilson will join Wallen on select dates.
