MacKenzie Porter – “Chasing Tornadoes”

MacKenzie Porter is taking a stroll on the wild side of life as she searches for that strike of adrenaline from an unbalanced relationship in her brand-new song, “Chasing Tornadoes.” Despite the blaring sirens warning her to turn around for her own good, the rising singer/songwriter is hooked on the twister that’s “Hot as Arizona, cold as Colorado” and has her “trying to catch that feeling like lightning in a bottle.” The energizing tune found its way into Porter’s impressive music catalog thanks to the songwriters, Emily Landis, Jamie Moore, and Lainey Wilson and producer Joey Moi. 

“’Chasing Tornadoes’ is the first song off of my full-length, debut album with Big Loud,” Porter eagerly shared in a press release. “We have so much new music coming, and this is the perfect intro to what the rest of the record feels like. It’s such a fun, feel-good song, and I can’t wait to play it live!”

Ryan Griffin – “Heart to Break”

Ryan Griffin’s new song, “Heart to Break,” puts a unique spin on the relatable narrative of wanting to move on but being held back by the walls that have built up around your heart. The singer takes on an outsider’s perspective as he observes this push-and-pull struggle with a woman who appears to be happy and ready for a fresh start, yet when love comes knocking, she turns the other way. The understanding message was co-written by Adam Hambrick, Ben Stennis and David Fanning and allows Griffin’s glazed vocals to soar throughout the uptempo tune. 

“Don’t take it personal if she don’t wanna talk / You got to understand that girl has heard it all / She’ll drink the drink you buy / And then she’ll walk away / She’s just all out of heart to break,” Griffin delivers in the chorus.

Dalton Dover – “I Wouldn’t Be Here” 

UMG Nashville/Mercury Records artist, Dalton Dover, dropped a heartfelt, gratitude-filled song with Mother’s Day just around the corner. Penned by Dover with Russell Sutton and Dan Isabell, “I Wouldn’t Be Here,” gives credit to the person in his life who’s gotten him through the highest of highs and the lowest of lows, supported him through every step of his flourishing career and overall, has made him the man he is today. The dreamy instrumentals go hand-in-hand with Dover’s smoothe vocals as he honors his mom through the power of music. 

“I wrote ‘I Wouldn’t Be Here’ for one of the most important people in my life, my momma,” Dover shared in a statement. “She’s my best friend, the greatest Mimi to my babies and the wisest woman I’ve ever met. I’m so grateful that I get to call her mom.”

Carter Faith – “Wild”

Carter Faith is letting her emotions run free as she feels herself falling deeper and deeper into the exciting chapter of a new love in her latest release, “Wild.” Produced by GRAMMY-nominated Tofer Brown and written by the female songstress with Cameron Bedell and Melissa Fuller, the fresh track showcases Faith’s impressive vocal range that steadies itself between powerful climbing octaves and delicate notes of passion. 

Throughout the dreamy chorus, Faith sings, “Loving you is wild, wild, wild / Like wild horses running / You got me feeling something / So wild, wild, wild / Like wildfire jumping / I’ve never felt nothing / So wild, yeah, nothing so wild.”

Roman Alexander – “One Tequila”

The effects of a few strong drinks and a sprinkling of classic country sounds inspired Roman Alexander’s sultry new song, “One Tequila.” The singer has popped the top on this tune that doubles as a soundtrack to a night out and a heart-stopping riff full of temptation. Penned by Adam Sanders, Lynn Hutton, and Jacob Rice and produced by Jared Keim, “One Tequila” is set to be featured on Alexander’s just-announced his next EP, DOWNTIME, which is due out June 16.

“When I first heard the demo of ‘One Tequila’ I immediately wanted to cut it – it sounded like a hit,” shares Alexander. “I felt the way I did the first time I heard the final mix of ‘Between You & Me’ where I could see crowds singing it back to me at live shows, hopefully a few tequila’s in. I really love 90’s and 2000’s country, and thought this was like a refreshed version of Joe Nichols’ ‘Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off’ – equally sexy and current for today, but also with a bit more of a party flare.”

Boy Named Banjo – “What Keeps Me Going”

In their tender new song, “What Keeps Me Going,” Boy Named Banjo has compiled a list of the simple things that get them through each day of life and holds a strong meaning for them. Letting their knack for nostalgia speak volumes, the Nashville-based band has put forth a harmony-laced production filled with positivity, gratitude and blissful joy. Banjo player Barton Davies is responsible for penning the song alongside guitarist and harmonica player William Reames and Pat McLaughlin.

“We wrote this song as we were coming out of the pandemic and reflecting on how that whole experience had shifted our focus,” Davies explained. “Like many others during that time, we found the most meaning from the simplest things – being outside, watching the sun go down, going fishing, and spending quality time with our loved ones. That’s what kept us going then and what keeps us going today.”

Larry Fleet  – “Young Buck”

Larry Fleet takes a sentimental and reflective approach to his new song, “Young Buck.” The mid-tempo track written by Andy Albert, John Byron, Devin Dawson, and Jacob Durrett drives home for Fleet as it reminds him of the memories with his dad and granddad from hunting season to man-to-man talks. The wise words and advice, which he once misunderstood, now hold a new meaning for him as a father hoping to give his kids the same love for the great outdoors and appreciation for the present time.  

The brand-new release finds Fleet singing, “He said son won’t ya slow it on down / Ya might not see it right now / But bein’ out here ain’t all about the years’ worth of deer that you hung up / The seasons get to goin’ too fast / So try to be where your boots are at / Just take it from me, you think you are, but you ain’t always gonna be / This young buck.”

Randall King – “When My Baby’s In Boots”

Randall King continues with his neon era of country music as he unleashes “When My Baby’s In Boots” via Warner Music Nashville. The new release written by Jordan Walker, Michael Carter and Trannie Anderson adds another smooth, toe-tapping jam to the Texas native’s setlist. King tips his cowboy hat to the excitement surrounding a night out on the dance floor as his love interest slips on her “size 7 Luccheses.” King’s gritty vocals echo his irrespirable twang and classic guitar strums throughout the charming track. 

“When my baby’s in boots / She wants to head downtown / Find her some whiskey to shoot / Get gone in a honky tonk crowd,” he delivers in the chorus. “She loves to cut footloose / When she slides into them size 7 Luccheses / We’re gonna be 2 stepping ’til 2 I’m in for a night that’s crazy / When my baby’s in boots.”
