They’ve been married for 15 years but Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban still sweep each other off their feet. It’s been that way since day one.
During a recent virtual appearance on NBC’s The Tonight Show, Kidman, 54, opened up about her longtime relationship with the country star, 53, and revealed the moment she realized they were meant to be together.
“I know you love New York, and this is a very special place for you. You got engaged here, I know that,” host Jimmy Fallon said.
“You’re not meant to know that!” Kidman laughed.
“When did Keith Urban first sweep you off your feet? When did you know?” he questioned.

What the Nine Perfect Strangers star revealed next sounds like it’s straight from a fairytale.
“He sat on the stoop of my New York apartment. I came out at 5 a.m. in the morning, and it was my birthday, and he had flowers,” she recalled. “And that was it. I was a goner.”
Kidman added, “I’m like, ”Yes I’ll marry you!”

Urban opened up on the moment he knew Kidman was the one in 2020 during an episode of Dax Shepard’s podcast, “Armchair Expert.”
“She’s just the one, that was it,” he said. “She’s the one that I was searching for my whole life, and everything not only changed but had to change in me if I was going to go that road. It felt like an ultimate fork-in-the-road moment in my life. It was literally like, ‘You either get this right now, or you are never, ever going to get it right. This is your one shot.’ Really, it felt so obvious.”
The superstars have gone to build an amazing life together and are parents to daughters Sunday Rose, 13, and Faith Margaret, 10.
While they both have busy schedules, they always make time to see each other and put family first no matter what.
Most recently, Kidman joined Urban on stage at the Grand Ole Opry for Loretta Lynn’s Friends: Hometown Rising, a sold-out show in support of the flood survivors in Middle Tennessee. The event raised nearly $1 million for flood relief efforts.
