Parmalee continues their streak of consecutive No. 1 singles with “Girl In Mine,” which claimed the top spot on the Country Aircheck/Mediabase radio chart this week.

Parmalee has achieved a total of four #1 singles (including three consecutive), making them the group with the highest number of chart-toppers in country music within the past three years.

“It’s a beautiful thing when fans start to really connect with a song and you feel the energy every night when they’re singing it back to you,” lead singer Matt Thomas said in a release. “Every #1 is special but this one is for the fans.”

“Girl In Mine” heeds their 2022 #1 record-setting, “Take My Name,” which was Billboard’s Most Played Country song of 2022, and the #1 Platinum hit, “Just The Way” with Blanco Brown. Bringing the group to their first chart-topper was the song inspired by their home state “Carolina.”

The chart-topping news comes on the heels of Parmalee’s recently released extended album, For You 2.

For You 2 is an 18-track project that serves as an extension for their latest album For You

Including the current No. 1 single “Girl In Mine,” the extended album features four new songs, as well as previous No. 1’s “Take My Name,” and “Just The Way.”

“We want to have different songs to complete For You 2, that still fit the whole vibe,” Matt Thomas shared in a statement. “I felt like we picked the four best for this total record.”

Coming off of a 19-city tour, Parmalee will shift their focus to their 2024 journey with Kane Brown. The band will hit the road for Kane Brown’s The Air Tour beginning in Charlottesville, Virginia on March 28.
