“From the beach to the tattoo parlor, Destin didn’t know what hit it,” Underwood wrote.

Carrie Underwood commemorated a recent beach vacation with a new floral tattoo. Taking to Instagram on Wednesday (May 10), the country superstar showed off the fresh ink through a carousel of photos that revealed highlights from a girl’s trip with her sisters-in-law in Destin, FL.
The remainder of the images showed the group posing together in their stunning summer dresses, sipping drinks on a boat, tanning on the beach, collecting unique shells, and getting their new tattoos.
Underwood chose to get a delicate daisy tattoo on her forearm. The artwork features a bit of color with a green stem, yellow center and light pink petals. One of the other beach-goers also went for a floral design while another opted for a tattoo with three birds flying together.
The singer/songwriter paired the post with a caption that finds her gushing about her love for her family members and their close-knit bond.
She wrote, “Sisters…not by blood…but sisters nonetheless. 💕God truly showed us great favor by putting us all together. These ladies are strong, kind and faithful and I’m so happy I get to do life with them!!! It’s true that you don’t get to choose your family, but if I could, I would choose these exact three women to be my sisters-in-law!”
“From the beach to the tattoo parlor, Destin didn’t know what hit it! I love you ladies,” Underwood said in conclusion.

This marks the “Before He Cheats” singer’s third tattoo. She also has a black cat and a four-leaf clover, both of which are hidden from the public. While she’s previously shared that her first two tattoos don’t hold any meaning as she got them in college, her most recent ink holds a deeper significance because it will forever serve as a memory of the joyful trip with her sisters-in-law.
During an interview with the Huffpost in 2015, Underwood revealed that the four-leaf clover tattoo on her abdomen looked a bit different after delivering her son through a c-section.
“It’s not really a four-leaf clover anymore, it’s a multileaf,” she told the outlet. “It doesn’t match up with the top! And I think most people deal with this after a C-section — there’s like a little pooch over the scar. It’s something that I’m probably going to have forever.”
The Florida getaway gave the singer a chance to enjoy some downtime following her recent 43-city U.S. arena tour, THE DENIM & RHINESTONES TOUR. This massive trek kicked off on Saturday, October 15, 2022, in Greenville, South Carolina and ran through March 17 when it came to an end with a sold-out show in Seattle, Washington.
Even though this tour has come to an end, Carrie Underwood has plenty more on the books for the remainder of the year.
Next up, she will relaunch her REFLECTION: The Las Vegas Residency in June.
“I’m thrilled to be returning to Resorts World Las Vegas next summer,” says Underwood. “REFLECTION is a show I’m so proud of and have so much fun performing. I love being out on the road with THE DENIM & RHINESTONES TOUR and look forward to returning to Vegas once that wraps, as it has become our home away from home where we get to play to audiences from all over the world.”
Set in Resorts World Theatre in Las Vegas, this summer residency recently gained 18 new shows, which will begin on June 21, 2023.
Additionally, the eight-time GRAMMY® Award winner announced that she will be launching an exclusive year-round SiriusXM channel titled, CARRIE’S COUNTRY, in June.
SiriusXM officially shared the news Monday, May 1, revealing that the new channel will be curated and presented by Underwood, who joins SiriusXM’s artist channel lineup of Kenny Chesney’s No Shoes Radio, The Beatles Channel, Drake’s Sound 42, and more.
“I’m thrilled to partner with SiriusXM on my new channel,” Underwood said in a press release. “I can’t wait to welcome listeners into my personal musical universe, sharing my favorite music across all of the genres I love, from classic rock to the latest in country.”
CARRIE’S COUNTRY will give fans an inside look into the “Hate My Heart” singer’s life through music, fitness, faith and more. The original programming will include monthly themed shows, morning workout and late-night hard-rock blocks, as well as Savior Sunday – a full day of inspirational music including Carrie’s own gospel catalogue, country titles, and more of the music that is close to her heart.
