Priscilla Block returns with her infectious new song, “Yard Sale.”

Flipping the script on a typical breakup song, Block turns heartache into profit, opting to sell her ex’s belongings in a pop up “Yard Sale” where everything is “half price.” With her girlfriends running the cash register, Block fully embraces her fresh start, vowing to sell off his prized possessions—cowboy boots, fishing gear, and more—after giving him two months to claim them with no response.

“I’m having me a yard sale, ten to five/ Follow all the yellow signs/Everything is half price, get you something nice/ I’m talking Jon boat, fishing poles, deer mounts and Mossy Oak/ Sorry baby, those Lucchese’s gotta go/ I’m having me a yard sale,” goes the singalong-worthy chorus.

“Yard Sale” delivers Priscilla Block’s signature sass with a playful mix of humor, confidence, and an irresistibly catchy melody. It’s the perfect recipe for a country hit.

Block recently sat down with Country Now to share details about the song and revealed that “‘Yard Sale’ was kind of a total accident.”

The North Carolina native wrote the song over a year ago with heavy hitters David Garcia, Jessie Jo Dillon, and Laura Veltz.

“Honestly, I didn’t know that I was going to put out ‘Yard Sale’. I thought it was kind of too out there, but every single time I would show this song to people, they’re like, ‘Priscilla, you have to put out ‘Yard Sale. It is so fun,’” she revealed.

Pressure to release the song continued to build from her band, who urged her to at least put it out on a deluxe version of her upcoming album.

“So I just decided, I’m like, ‘All right, I’m throwing on TikTok. Let’s just see.’”

Block admits she was blown away by the overwhelming response to the song.

“You can kind of get a feel for a song on the internet and if people are vibing, you’ll see. And wow, was I fully kind of wrong,” she said. “This song has totally raised its hand. I mean over 10,000 people have used the audio and it’s not even out yet.”

After seeing the reaction from fans, Block returned to the studio with producers David Garcia and Jesse Frasure and “vamped up the demo.”

Reflecting on the unexpected success of the song, Block shared, “[It’s] so funny because why does everything that kind of works so unplanned?”

After sharing clips of the song online, Block added the song to her live shows and the response continues to surprise her.

“Everyone knows the song. It’s crazy. You would’ve thought that I’ve had ‘Yard Sale’ out for two years,” she laughed. “Just the response has been crazy.”

Leading up to today’s official song release, Block and her team got creative, turning “Yard Sale” into a QVC-esque campaign dubbed “PBC” where she encourages viewers to dial 1-800-DUMPHIM to purchase her exes belongings. It’s taken the song and storyline to a new level.

“This is what I thrive on, just letting my creative mind just run,” she declared, promising that there are more PBC videos to come.

“Yard Sale” joins the previously released “He’s My Man,” giving fans a preview of her forthcoming new album. This yet-to-be-announced project will serve as the follow-up to last summer’s PB2 EP and her debut album, Welcome To The Block Party
