Country Music Hall of Fame Member Randy Travis hosted a special press conference in Nashville on Wednesday to announce exciting news – he’s heading out on tour for the first time since 2013.
The Music of Randy Travis Tour will feature country singer James Dupré and the Randy Travis Band, comprised of Steve Hinson, David Johnson, Lance Dary, Bill Cook, Joe Van Dyke and Herb Shucher, singing all 16 of the legendary entertainer’s chart-topping hits.
Travis will make a special appearance at each one of the upcoming 12 tour stops.
“We are incredibly excited to be back on the road and give Randy’s fans a chance to hear his music live again, and who better to sing his many hits than James Dupré?” Mary and Randy Travis shared in a statement.
The tour kicks off October 16 and will hit various markets around the Southeast and Midwest, including Indianapolis, Nashville, Atlanta and Green Bay.
