In 2013, Kelly Clarkson was joined by two of country music’s biggest superstars, Reba McEntire and Trisha Yearwood, for a stunning performance of “Silent Night.” 

Clarkson, donning a gorgeous red ball gown, opened the performance taking lead on the first verse. Yearwood then appeared on stage to take on lead vocals as Clarkson provided harmonies. 

Moments later, McEntire appeared to sing lead while Clarkson and Yearwood provided background vocals.

The star-studded performance concluded with the three superstars harmonizing with each other as they effortlessly sang the classic Christmas song. 

It is truly a breathtaking performance and will forever go down as one of the best renditions of the song.

The goosebumps-inducing performance took place during Clarkson’s Christmas special, Kelly Clarkson’s Cautionary Christmas Music Tale, on NBC. 

The special was filmed live at The Venetian Las Vegas on October 13, 2013 and aired on December 11, 2013. 

Kelly Clarkson’s Cautionary Christmas Music Tale also featured performances and or appearances by Blake Shelton, Heidi Klum, the late Robin Williams, Whoopi Goldberg, William Shatner, Jay Leno, Danica Patrick and more.

The show featured performances of holiday classics like “Run Run Rudolph,” “Please Come Home for Christmas,” and “White Christmas.” Clarkson also performed original tracks such as “Wrapped In Red” and “Underneath The Tree.”

Clarkson’s second Christmas album, When Christmas Comes Around… was released in 2021.
