After emerging onto the country music scene in early 2020, rising trio Restless Road is embarking on an exciting new chapter after inking with a record deal with Kane Brown’s new label, 1021 Entertainment, a worldwide joint venture with Sony Music Nashville.

The signing is a first for the label, which Brown hopes to use to support some of the best new talent Nashville has to offer.

“I want to give people chances to succeed. With 1021 Entertainment, I feel like we have a platform and team that can mentor and build up talent in country music,” Brown explains. “With my own label, I want to use it as an opportunity to shape and promote artists that may not have gotten a chance otherwise, for Restless Road and others in the future.”

Now, with Brown in their corner, Restless Road’s Zach Beeken, Colton Pack and Garrett Nichols are ready to take country music by storm with the release of their official debut single, “Took One Look At Her Momma.”

Co-written by the trio alongside Lindsay Rimes and Andy Albert, the “Took One Look At Her Momma” is quickly resonating with fans with its relatable message and infectious harmonies.

“The song stemmed from a really entertaining conversation my dad and I had where he was, basically sharing fatherly wisdom on everything from fishing to finding the right woman. We loved the idea of ‘Took One Look At Her Momma’ as a song title, and once we all got into the writing room it came together pretty quickly from there,” Nichols previously shared in a statement.

“It’s been really amazing to see the support of this song! We’ve loved connecting with our fans over the last year and it’s been cool to see how our fans have shown up for this release,” Beeken tells Country Now. “Seeing so many people sharing the song and tagging us online has been a surreal experience so far.”
