Ryan Hurd Takes Fans On the Road In ‘Wish For The World’ Music Video

Ryan Hurd is giving fans a look into life on the road in the just-released music video for his song “Wish For The World.”

Shot at various stops on his headlining Platonic Tour, the video showcases some of Hurd’s favorite moments from the trek.

“We closed every show on the Platonic Tour with ‘Wish for the World.’ It was one of my favorite moments from on stage, and something special to experience with each audience,” Hurd shared in a statement. “Given what the world is experiencing right now, the song has taken on a new meaning and I wanted to share some of the love, friendship, and happiness we got to witness and absorb each night with anyone who needs a little more of it right now.”

Hurd co-wrote “Wish For The World” with Aaron Eshuis and Joe Clemmons. The hope-filled track appears on his Platonic EP, which was released last fall.

Unfortunately, Hurd was forced to cancel the remaining dates of his Platonic Tour due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. However, with this music video, Hurd gives fans the opportunity to witness portions of his memorable lives shows.

“I can’t wait for us all to be together again,” Hurd shared in a tweet when releasing the video.

Hurd recently welcomed his first child with his wife, Maren Morris, on March 23, just a day before their second wedding anniversary.
