Chris Lane, Mickey Guyton, and Gabby Barrett are a few of the country music stars that have welcomed a new addition to their family this year. Could Sam Hunt be next?
It’s no secret that his wife, Hannah Lee Fowler, has inspired many of Hunt’s songs, through the ups and downs of their relationship, but the singer, 36, might have someone new in his life giving him inspiration in the near future.
In an interview with TC & Dina on KISS Country 99.9 (Miami), Hunt revealed some exciting future plans to start a family.
“[We’ve] really started to think about [having kids] seriously here these past few months, so that’s on the agenda right now,” he shared. “I’m hoping we’ll have some good news sooner than later.”

Hunt and Fowler celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary this past April. Sharing adorable “than vs now” photos, Hunt captioned his post with the words, “How it started. How its going. Happy Anniversary!”
It’s hard for anyone to know when the “right” moment is to start a family, but the happy couple has been warming up to the idea for awhile now. In 2018, Hunt was still enjoying the honeymoon phase in his relationship and his mind was on work, mostly. At the same time, he revealed to Entertainment Tonight that he had already started to experience baby fever.
“My brother had a baby about a year ago. I’ve been… watching him grow up through pictures mostly. That has escalated my baby fever a little bit,” he explained. “I’ve always wanted to have lots of kids, so it’s not something new… I had two brothers, three [kids] has always been a number that works with me.”
He went on to say that he wasn’t sure if he was responsible enough to start raising kids of his own at the time. Now that he has taken a few years to focus on his relationship and think about what he wants in life, it seems as though Hunt is ready for the new chapter in his life to begin.
Currently, Hunt is back on the road performing his hits along with his latest projects and collaborations including “when was it over?” with Sasha Alex Sloan, and “Wishful Drinking” with Ingrid Andress.
