Sporting a textured silky suit jacket over an all-black ensemble, McCreery was all smiles as he arrived to the carpet hand in hand with his beautiful wife Gabi, who opted for a black dress complete with padded shoulders.

“It’s gonna be a beautiful night,” McCreery told Alexandra Kay on the red carpet ahead of the show.

Scotty and Gabi, who reside in North Carolina, have known each other since Kindergarten. The couple’s love story is straight out of a fairy tale as Gabi used to doodle hearts and “Mrs. Gabi McCreery” in her diary.

The couple wed in June of 2018 and in the fall of 2022, they became parents with the addition of their son, Merrick Avery McCreery.

“Never known a love like this,” the American Idol season 10 winner shared following the birth of his son.

Since then, the country star has been open about the profound impact becoming a father has had on his life and promises to have a family-first mentality when making decisions about his career.

Scotty McCreery was on hand to present during the NBC broadcast.

It’s been an eventful few weeks for the North Carolina native, who recently released his brand-new single, “Cab In A Solo” to country radio.

The song made a major impact upon its radio add-date, earning a whopping 120 first-week adds and securing the title of the most-added song at country radio for that week. Additionally, the track received the most first-week adds of McCreery’s career as well as the largest first week for his label Triple Tigers and the third biggest add day of the year.

“Wow! I’ve been doing this now for twelve years, and this is the largest add week I’ve ever had and it’s the first time I’ve had the most added song on my first week,” McCreery exclaimed. “Thank you country radio for all your support both now and through the years, and thanks to the Triple Tigers promotion team. I’ll be drinking cab in a solo tonight!”

Released to streaming platforms on Friday (Aug. 18), ”Cab In A Solo” will appear on McCreery’s forthcoming, yet-to-be-announced new album.
