It’s another boy for Shay Mooney and his wife, Hannah! The couple welcomed their fourth son, Aubrey Ellis, into the world this week and took to Instagram to introduce him to the world.

“Our brand new baby BOY is finally here! Aubrey Ellis Mooney. 7 lbs 9 ounces + perfectly healthy! Thank you Jesus for another miracle,” the couple shared in a joint Instagram post on Tuesday afternoon (Jan. 21).

The post included two snapshots of their adorable newborn son and caught the attention of fans and fellow artists, who congratulated the couple in the comments section.

Gabby Barrett, who is labelmates with Shay Mooney, shared, “God has truly chosen you to raise mighty men of faith. Your home is a testament to His blessings and your strength. Congratulations and many blessings…”

Brittany Aldean also shared a sweet message, writing, “Awww❣️❣️❣️❣️ congratulations guys!!!”

Shay and Hannah decided to wait until birth to learn their baby’s gender. Just hours before the big moment, Hannah posted a poll on her stories, asking followers to guess whether they would be welcoming a boy or a girl. While 57% guessed the baby would be a girl, it turns out another boy was in the cards for the Mooney family.

The couple announced Hannah’s pregnancy in late July via Instagram. The video featured the couple sitting on a couch as each of their three sons joined them in birth order. At the end, Hannah leaned over to her family to reveal the positive pregnancy test, and all five of them shared a heartfelt group hug while the song “Million Little Miracles (feat. Joe L. Barnes)” played softly in the background.

Shay and Hannah initially connected through social media and quickly felt a deep bond. After the country singer proposed on August 9, 2016, they discovered they were expecting their first child, Asher James, who arrived on January 24, 2017. Their little one was part of their special day, which took place on Mooney’s family farm on October 20, 2017. The couple later welcomed Ames Alexander on February 21, 2020, and Abram Shay on January 17, 2023.

This milestone week for Mooney saw him celebrate his 11th No. 1 single at country radio as part of Dan + Shay, with the duo’s “Bigger Houses” reaching the top spot on the Mediabase/Country Aircheck chart.

“BIGGER HOUSES IS OFFICIALLY #1 AT COUNTRY RADIO.  Anytime you get to ring the bell, it’s a career highlight and a huge win to celebrate with everyone involved, but this song is extra special for so many reasons.  Not only is it the title track to the album that saved our band, but it is a message of gratitude and appreciation that has truly inspired the way we live.  Knowing that this song has resonated with so many people, like it has with us, is the ultimate validation,” they wrote on social media in response to the news.

Currently, Dan + Shay have no tour dates on the books.
