Fashion designers Daniel Musto and Lani Lupton are putting the glitz and glam into the country music space. The western fashion trend has dominated runways and has been seen on style icons like Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner, Sophie Turner, and more. 

While cowboy hats, boots, and bedazzled fringe have recently swept the nation, these fashion forecasters have predicted the country-style phenomenon since 2019. Together the designers established DanielXDiamond – a retail line that “believes stage wear shouldn’t be restricted to stages, and rhinestones shouldn’t be restricted to musicians.”

With sustainably on top of mind, the respected stylists began sourcing vintage Levi trucker jackets and hats from around the world and constantly utilize industrial grade material to create their fashion-forward looks. 

Throughout the years, DanielXDiamond vintage pieces have created quite the stir within Music City, and legendary musicians have served their glamorous honky-tonk styles under the spotlight. “After a hat fitting with Kelsea in Nashville, she decided to go with a classic white/silver combo,” the designer exclusively told Country Now about their studded “Shania Hat” priced at $1,600 online. The luxury accessory has become a staple in several female vocalists closets.  

“Knowing that Shania and Kelsea are buddies, designer Daniel Musto, offered to loan the exact black and gold hat from Shania’s music video for “Legends Never Die” with Orville Peck for this tour. After realizing that some of her looks wouldn’t coordinate with the silver hat, it was necessary,” says the label about the styling process. 

Before Ballerini rocked the legendary look on stage, the chic and sassy hat was worn by Gwen Stefani on Good Morning America. Ever since the “Peter Pan” songstress was gifted the iconic hat, she has been supporting the brand at every tour stop – except for one, when her party pony couldn’t fit underneath. However, her drummer took on the role of slaying the look instead. 

It wasn’t long until the Jonas Brothers realized Ballerini’s obsession with her DanielXDiamond star-studded hat. The beloved boy band surprised her on stage in the middle of her set with a Shania Hat-inspired cake at the Tinley Park concert.

The country-pop singer is not the only artist head over heels for the glamorous street style looks – Carrie Underwood, Katelyn Brown, Renee Blair, Joelle Fletcher, Carly Pearce, and several more public figures have all been seen wearing the vintage denim jackets decked out in fringe crystals.  

Most recently, Underwood sported the rhinestone cowboy hat and a custom outfit at the star-studded CMA Summer Jam at Ascend Amphitheater in Downtown Nashville. The personalized design took over 25+ hours to create.
