Independent artist Spencer Crandall recently dropped his latest track, “Red Flags,” and began teasing fans that he has an album in the works.
The catchy, up-beat ballad was written by Crandall, Gus Ross and Luke Eisner and pins the feelings of standing up for yourself in a relationship when you know enough is enough.
The hook of the chorus states: “I took off my rose-colored glasses, now I see your red flags.”
Crandall shares, “Red Flags is one of my favorite songs I’ve ever created. It combines so many of my influences into this really fun, futuristic, western sound. I love that ‘Red Flags’ describes someone realizing their own worth and deciding to make the best decision for themselves. Toxic relationships can be cycles that are really hard to break, and ‘Red Flags’ can be the permission we all need to do what’s best for us. I’m always writing for the live show and this song is a perfect addition to our live set. The energy is unmatched and people who don’t even know the song are screaming it back to us by the last chorus – it gives me goosebumps every time. This song is a peek behind the curtain of everything that’s to come.”
Crandall’s latest single, “Made,” accounted for 12.5 million streams, 21 thousand iTunes purchases, and over 38 thousand Shazams since it was released in September. Before “Made,” the singer/songwriter went viral with his mega-hit, “My Person.”
With over 167 million global streams, Crandall is sure to continue to blow fans away and make 2022 his year.
Fans can catch Spencer Crandall on the road with Lauren Alaina throughout the Spring.
