Country superstar Kane Brown and his wife Katelyn have expanded their family once again!

The “One Mississippi” singer and his wife surprised fans with the announcement of the birth of their second daughter, Kodi Jane. 

“New year, New family member ❤️ welcome to the family Kodi Jane 🥰 secrets finally out,” Brown shared on Instagram alongside a photo that was taken in the hospital after Kodi’s birth. 

A second photo of the newborn is also included in Brown’s post. The black and white pic shows the precious baby girl sporting a gown that reads, “Hello World, I’m Kodi.”

Kodi Jane entered the world on Thursday, December 30, weighing 7lb. 9oz. and measuring 20.5 inches long, according to People.com

The news comes as a huge surprise to fans as they didn’t even know Katelyn was pregnant.

Kodi Jane joins big sister Kingsley Rose and shares the KB initials with the other members of the family. 

Kane and Katelyn recently celebrated their third wedding anniversary on October 12.

The beloved couple got engaged in the Spring of 2017 and wed following year. Their first child, Kingsley Rose, arrived in October 2019.

Fans have watched little Kingsley grow up over the past two years, and now, she’s become quite the road baby. She’s been accompanying Kane and Katelyn on tour this fall and seems to be having the time of her life as seen through her parents’ Instagram posts. 

Kingsley celebrated her 2nd birthday on October 29 with a Minnie Mouse-themed birthday party.
