Tenille Townes just announced plans to release a six-song EP ahead of the release of her debut album.
Dubbed the Road to the Lemonade Stand, the EP will offer fans a preview of her much-anticipated album, which is set for release later this spring. The EP will feature six tracks, five of which were written by the critically acclaimed singer/songwriter as well as a cover of Keith Urban’s “Stupid Boy.”
“I wanted to put out this EP to continue to tell the story of these songs,” Townes shared in a statement. “This EP is for everyone that has been on this road with me so far…the ones who have shared their stories at the shows and in messages and who have given these songs a home. You have shaped me and shaped the meaning of The Lemonade Stand. I’m so excited to walk on this Road to the Lemonade Stand with you.”
Townes’ EP, which also includes her current single, “Jersey On The Wall (I’m Just Asking),” arrives on February 7.
Tenille Townes has a slew of tour dates on the books for 2020, including a two-night run with Keith Urban in Las Vegas and several dates with the legendary Alan Jackson.
