It’s been nine years since Thomas Rhett and his wife, Lauren Akins, tied the knot and it appears they’re more in love than ever.

With three daughters at home, and another on the way, the couple’s tight-knit bond has only strengthened since they met in first grade while growing up in Valdosta, Georgia.

In celebration of their anniversary, Thomas and Lauren took to social media to share sweet messages with each other. Along with their kind words, Thomas and Lauren also included throwback photos from the early days of their relationship.

“This picture was taken in a field in Tennessee in 2011,” the “Country Again” singer began. “I knew from this one night that we were gonna get married and grow old together.”

He went on to reflect on their marriage and share his excitement over their fourth child.

“Here we are 9 years into marriage. I’m thankful to God everyday that You said yes to marrying me,” he wrote. “What a wild ride of just being us two for 5 years, to now having 3 beautiful baby girls, to almost welcoming our 4th baby! What is life?!?! I love you so much @laur_akins and I can’t wait to see what the next 50 years has to hold for us.😍”

The couple will soon welcome their fourth daughter. Rhett recently opened up about Lauren’s pregnancy during an interview with Entertainment Tonight and he couldn’t help but to praise her for all that she’s gone through with being pregnant.

“She’s okay. Lauren has, her pregnancies every time, like ,she’s just nauseous a lot, but she’s such a trooper and such a fighter and such a champion,” he gushed. “And we’re just getting really close to the point of like ‘I just wish we could have it today.’ So, I guess six more weeks and we’ll be ready to rock.”

Thomas Rhett recently wrapped his 2021 Center Point Road Tour, so he’ll have plenty of time to soak up those newborn snuggles when she arrives.
