Thomas Rhett and his wife, Lauren Akins, will get fans into the holiday spirit this year by co-hosting the annual CMA Country Christmas special on ABC.
The pair announced the news on ABC’s Good Morning America ahead of tonight’s 54th Annual CMA Awards where Rhett is scheduled to perform and Akins is scheduled to present.
“We can’t wait to kick off the holidays with y’all,” Thomas shared on social media following the announcement.
CMA Country Christmas is scheduled to air on Monday, November 30 at 9/8c on ABC.
Performers for the show will be announced at a later date.

Lauren Jo Black is a longtime member of the Country Music Association and the Academy of Country Music.
