The 2019 American Music Awards are just days away and not only are a number of country music artists nominated, but a few artists will also take the stage to perform during the live telecast.
The show will feature performances by former country hitmaker Taylor Swift, Lizzo, Jonas Brothers, Green Day, Selena Gomez, Camila Cabello and many more, including country stars Thomas Rhett and Shania Twain.
Details surrounding Rhett’s performance have yet to be revealed, however, People confirmed that Twain will perform a medley of her greatest hits during the show. Twain’s performance will mark her first time performing on the AMA stage in 16 years.
Billy Ray Cyrus is this year’s most-nominated country artist with four nods, thanks to “Old Town Road,” his collaboration with Lil Nas X.
Luke Combs follows with three nominations, including a nod in the all-genre New Artist of the Year category. Kane Brown, Carrie Underwood and Dan + Shay each earned two nominations. See the full list of country nominees HERE.
The 2019 American Music Awards will broadcast live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday, Nov. 24, at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
