Thomas Rhett is going to be a dad – again!
The country superstar took to Instagram to share the exciting news on Tuesday (July 23).
Not only did the “Remember You Young” singer reveal that his wife Lauren was expecting, but he also shared the gender of their new addition.
“Excited to share that I will now be paying for 3 weddings,” Rhett wrote. “I feel so blessed to say that our third child is on the way and it’s a girl!! I love you so much @laur_akins. WG and AJ, y’all are gonna be the best big sisters! Bring on the crazy.”
Rhett’s wife, Lauren Akins, also shared the news with a heartfelt post to Instagram.
“We decided we didn’t have enough princess dresses around the house so we’re adding another Akins baby girl to the family early next year,” she shared, followed by several emojis. See her full post above.
The couple’s third child will join big sisters, Willa Gray, 3 1/2, and Ada James, 23 months.
Thomas and Lauren have been friends since they were in grade school. The beloved country couple wed in 2012.
