Thomas Rhett and Lennon Love

As a father of three, Thomas Rhett knows all the tricks to calming babies. The superstar recently had a get a little creative, however, because his previously tested efforts stopped working with his youngest daughter, Lennon.

“So the last few days, Lennon is like really waking up to the world,” the “Beer Can’t Fix” singer explained in a video shared to Instagram. “Now, when I hold her to rock her, the bounce doesn’t work anymore, so I just started singing to her.”

Rhett then went on to sing the song he wrote for his nearly 5-week-old daughter.

“Lennon Love, my baby girl/ Don’t you know that you could change the world/ With your sweet little smile and your gentle soul/ Never let your flame go cold,” he crooned while picking an acoustic guitar.

“Works every time,” he said proudly before the video cut off.

Lennon Love is Rhett’s third daughter with his wife Lauren Akins. The couple welcomed Lennon on February 10. Lennon Love joins big sisters Willa Gray, 4 and Ada James, 2.

Thomas Rhett will be able to enjoy some downtime with his girls before hitting the road on his Center Point Road Tour, which is scheduled to kick off May 29 in Gilford, New Hampshire.
