Tim McGraw Honors Wife Faith Hill With Heartfelt Message on Their 30th Wedding Anniversary: ‘You Are My Best Friend’

Tim McGraw has penned a heartfelt post to his wife, Faith Hill, celebrating their milestone 30th wedding anniversary.
The country star took to social media on Tuesday, Oct. 6, to commemorate their longtime love, sharing a series of clips from their life together, including sweet memories and onstage moments throughout their decades-long relationship. The video was soundtracked by McGraw’s “My Best Friend,” from his 1999 album A Place in the Sun.
He opened the message by reflecting back on the day they said I do in 1996 in a place that was very special to McGraw.
“30 years, today. 30 years of our marriage. That day, October 6, 1996, under an old locust tree (I think) in my Aunt’s backyard in Rayville, Louisiana, I stood there and watched my future walk towards me with the sweetest man I’ve ever known, her father Ted. In front of our closest family and friends, I was bound to the most beautiful soul.”
He went on to praise Hill for the love, joy and support she has brought to his life and their family, describing her as the “center of gravity” in his and their three daughters’ lives.
“A lady that was glowing in my eyes, expanding my heart, and giving me all the love she had. I was and still am bewildered by her capacity to love, forgive, nurture and be full of joy and laughter. She is a gift to the world for sure, however, for us, we get Her, all of her. And I (and my girls) know who is ours, completely. It’s difficult to describe what she means, she is the center of gravity to my life and our girls lives and anyone who knows Audrey Faith McGraw,” he continued.
McGraw concluded his touching message by further proving the intensity of his love and looking ahead to the years still to come.
“I love you baby. You are my best friend. My lover. My wife. My shelter in any and every storm. And the sunrise afterwards. Many more sunrises and sunsets. Many more beautiful memories to come. I am a fortunate man.”
Fans and fellow friends quickly filled the comment section with congratulatory messages for the longtime couple.
Their daughter Audrey also joined in on the celebration, writing, “Awwww ❤️ love y’all so much.”
Thirty years in, it’s clear Tim McGraw and Faith Hill still have plenty of love and many more memories ahead of them.
