Breakout Country artist Timmy McKeever has just dropped a flirty new anthem about impulsive love titled “Hold You To It.”

Written by McKeever, alongside Autumn Bussey and Jake Rose, the song digs into the message that actions speak louder than words as he spells out the emotional stakes that come with falling fast for someone and having to hope that they will mean what they say.

“This song came from that moment when someone’s talking big—marriage, diamonds, forever—and you’re like, ‘Alright then, I’m gonna hold you to it.’ It’s fun, flirty, and just falling fast for someone in the best way,” McKeever told Country Now while sharing his intentions behind story that offers both excitement and fear.

His modern baritone vocals cut through the production with a sense of grit, vulnerability and a touch of playfulness. Without skipping a beat, he leans into the tension between wanting to take a shot at love in this whirlwind romance and worrying that they won’t hold up their end of the bargain when things get serious down the road.

“I’mma hold you to it/ Say let’s run away tonight/ Well we better get moving/ Kiss me, prove it/ Cause if we ain’t doing this what the hell are we doing/ Keep your lips on me keep leading me on/ But when they play that music/ I’mma hold you to it all night long,” McKeever sings with a seductive spark.

Newest Signee to Big Loud Records

“Hold You To It” marks a significant moment in Timmy McKeever’s career as it serves as his label debut with Big Loud Records. Announced today, the rising star was revealed as the newest signee to Big Loud Records.

“I’m beyond excited to officially join the Big Loud family, I truly can’t imagine a better place to call home,” shares McKeever. “I’ve poured my heart into this new music and I can’t wait for the fans to hear it!”

McKeever’s success didn’t come overnight, however it’s safe to say he’s quickly evolving into one of country music’s most exciting new voices. The singer/songwriter has worked hard to build a reputation for his raw honesty, strong work ethic, and genuine storytelling and as a result, he’s earning millions of independent streams, a fast-growing fanbase and producing can’t-miss live shows.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Timmy to Big Loud. His storytelling and ability to connect with fans is rare for someone so young, and we’re excited for the opportunity to showcase those gifts and help him write the next chapters in what is sure to be a long and successful career,” says Wes Donehower, Big Loud Records SVP of A&R.

Plus, on August 6, he will take part in a flood relief concert in Dallas, TX benefitting the victims of the Kerr Country Flood.
