Trace Adkins is on the hunt for some holiday mischief and romance in his playful new Christmas release, “Naughty List.”

Written by Adkins, Monty Criswell and Derek George, the flirtatious song depicts a fun, cheeky interaction where the singer teases about getting someone on the “naughty list” after they’ve done “some mistletoe misbehavin’” together.

“I can get you on the naughty list/ I’m pretty tight with old Saint Nick/ I got a tractor painted Christmas red/ You oughta see me in my old sleigh bed,” he sings.

Adkins signature baritone vocals are paired with jingle bells, woodwinds, steel guitar, and more to create a festival and comical holiday tune.

Santa himself co-stars in the just-released music video, which was directed by Mike Stryker and co-produced by Greg Baker, Jason Fridenstine, and Andrew Rozario.

The playful music video captures Adkins and St. Nick in a lighthearted bargaining session just before Christmas. As a devoted fan of Adkins and his legendary Country career, Santa eagerly gives the MULTI-PLATINUM entertainer and TV/film actor a taste of life in the red suit—complete with a few thoughtful gifts to encourage good behavior. However, Adkins has a different kind of holiday fun in mind. The humorous video also features appearances from Victoria Pratt, Adkins’ own “lady in red,” and their lovable furry companion, Gary.
