The Westin Nashville will soon continue its 27 LIVE series with a highly-anticipated performance by Tyler Rich and special guest, Graham Barham.

On Thursday, June 8, Rich will take the stage as part of the series that sits 27 floors above Nashville’s bustling downtown area and The Gulch in the L27 Rooftop Lounge. (RSVP to the show by clicking HERE.)

The upcoming show will allow Rich to reconnect with his Nashville fans at the perfect because his performance also happens to be the same night as the kickoff to Music City’s annual CMA Fest, which takes place just below the L27 Rooftop Lounge.

“I’m super excited. The whole lineup for over the summer is just awesome. And it worked out perfectly in our favor that when we got asked to be a part of the series, which was already a no-brainer cause it’s local and it’s just gonna be awesome to be a part of, we were able to snag the date that is on the week during CMA Fest and double down on it and make it our fan party as well. So it’s probably been the thing I’m looking forward to the most for really the whole summer,” he told Country Now ahead of his upcoming performance.

Joining the “Leave Her Wild” singer will be newcomer Graham Barham. While the two artists have yet to meet, Rich shared that he is already a fan of his music.

“When the booking request came through and they were putting him down as opener, I went through and listened to his music with my management, and I thought he was great. I was like, this is a great fit. I think the fans will eat it up and it’ll be a good time,” Rich shared.

Fans can expect Rich to appear on stage with a full band featuring epic distortion and hard-hitting drums, making for a can’t-miss party. He went on to explain that he’s still working on finalizing the setlist, but plans to perform a mix of new songs off his latest EP, I Know You Do, as well as some older tracks for the fans that have been with him since the start, and maybe even a few covers that have done well during his sets in the past.

Most recently, fans have gotten the chance to enjoy Tyler Rich’s music in a new way, as he stripped back five of his previously released songs for an acoustic project titled, Unplugged In Nashville.

“It’s something I’ve wanted to do actually for a long time, and it was amazing that we finally got to do it,” Rich shared of the reimagined collection. “I feel like we start off writing all of these songs acoustic, and that’s just the truest, most vulnerable and sweetest way that the song’s ever gonna sound. It’s a whole different style of storytelling when you hear something when it’s just bare bones and a little more honest, you know? Fans have been asking for quite a while for a couple different acoustic songs and so when we decided we were gonna get going and actually do it, we just listened to them and went in and just recorded the five that most requested acoustic songs basically from the past few years.”

The project features fan favorites such as “I Know You Do,” “Leave Her Wild,” “Thinkin’ We’re In Love,” “The Difference,” and “Better Than You’re Used To.”

Instead of taking the usual route and keeping the songs mostly the same, with the absence of the majority of the instrumentals, Rich decided to completely strip back the tracks that his listeners have come to really appreciate over the years.

“I wanted to go in there and just really reimagine and give these songs a facelift and a new identity. If I had a chance to go in and produce ’em all over again from a different angle, what I would have them sound like, and it turned out amazing. I mean, I couldn’t be more proud of it. I love it,” he added.

In terms of new music, Rich shared that nothing is “officially” in the works, however, he has a few things brewing that will likely appear in the form of a new album eventually.

We are definitely on the path of more new music,” he teased. “We’re looking at what’s gonna be next as far as studio time for more songs that will eventually complete the second album.

The thriving singer/songwriter continued, “This fall will be three years since album one came out, so it is time at least, kind of narrowing through songs and figuring it out.”
