VIDEO: See Inside Granger Smith’s Brand New Texas Farmhouse
“We are happy with every bit of it,” Smith says of their new home.
Granger Smith and Family – Home Tour
Country hitmaker Granger Smith and his wife Amber are giving fans a look inside their brand new home.
The couple invited fans in for a tour of the sprawling farmhouse in a video on their family YouTube channel, The Smiths.
While Smith acknowledges, “We’re not totally done, we have so much work to do,” the singer/songwriter is sharing a full video tour of their custom built home.
The family broke ground on their dream home on September 5, 2020 and recently moved in after living in a camper for 13 months.
“Here we are, the house is done…Let’s go,” Smith excitedly shares as the video tour of the rustic, ranch-style home begins.
He proceeds to make his way down a rock path leading to the front porch, which has two beautiful water features situated on either side.
His wife, Amber, greets him and opens the front door to reveal a stunning open concept kitchen/living room with a fireplace that burns wood and gas
“We are happy with every bit of it,” he says.
The couple incorporated shiplap, exposed wood beams, a custom built vent hood, and more.
The cozy home features farmhouse-inspired light fixtures and décor throughout.
The video goes on to show Amber’s home office, their family’s giant walk-in pantry, laundry room and children’s room.
Before they make their way into other areas of the home, Smith takes a moment to discuss the size of the home they built.
“So, I wanna address that there’s going to be people [that] watch this that have much bigger houses, or would expect us to have a much bigger house, then there’s people going to watch it that are thinking, ‘this house is a mansion.’ And so, it’s all spectrums… people have, people live in all different kinds of houses,” he goes on to say. “This house, for us, is smaller than the last two we lived in, by design on purpose. We built it where there is no dining room, there’s no sitting room, it’s for us. And like I said, some of you might think this is the biggest house you’ve ever seen. Some of you think, ‘I can’t believe Granger lives there,’ but we built it where it has no extra rooms for our family.”
“There’s just no wasted space,” Amber adds of their condensed floor plan.
The video tour concludes with a look at Granger and Amber’s master bedroom, which boasts a giant master closet with a barndoor, a huge white subway tiled shower and a gorgeous view.
Just days after the Smith family shared their new home tour, they welcomed their fourth child, Maverick Beckham. The sweet baby boy was born on Friday, August 20.
The country singer took to Instagram to introduce the world to his newborn son.
“He’s here,” Smith captioned an Instagram post of Amber holding her newborn baby. “Wow…so many emotions. Maverick Beckham Smith made his debut today. He and @amberemilysmith are doing great.”
Maverick’s birth came a little more than two years after the tragic death of their 3-year-old son, River, who drowned in the family’s pool in June of 2019.
