Ashland Craft puts her acting and dancing skills on display in the official music video for her latest single, “Lie A Little.”

Directed by Quinton Cook, the video offers a set of gritty, cinematic visuals that perfectly match the song’s raw honesty and rebellious energy. Set in a dimly lit, dive bar atmosphere created inside the iconic Nashville Palace, the video shines a light on Craft’s signature smoky vocals as she portrays the story of someone who recognizes their own flaws in relationships but still asks her partner for a little grace when it’s time to say goodbye.

“Lie A Little/ Say you hate you have to go/ Cry a little/ Just a couple tears will go a long way tonight/ If you’re singing me goodbye/ Fiddle with the truth/ Baby, baby be kind/ And lie a little,” She delivers on the chorus with a soulful, country-blues grit.

Throughout the video, the songstress mirrors the storyline by portraying the role of different characters sat at the table of a high-stakes poker game. In between holding her own among the intense card game, we see her unleash an honest, straight-shooting energy through performance clips featuring dancers moving to an official line dance choreographed by Standard Western.

“I’m so excited to have the ‘Lie A Little’ music video premiering with CMT,” says the Leo33 recording artist. “This song is all about that laid-back, take-it-or-leave-it attitude, and we wanted the video to bring that to life in a fun way. From the honky-tonk setting to the line dancing and poker game, it’s got just the right mix of grit and good times. I can’t wait for everyone to watch it!”

The clever, whiskey-soaked setting backed by the moody neon lights makes it the perfect visual representation of the song penned by Kelly Archer, Bryan Simpson and Mark Irwin. This song has quickly gained traction among the South Carolina native’s fanbase and sets the tone for her major year of touring ahead.

This spring, Ashland Craft will hit the road for her co-headlining trek alongside Meghan Patrick, dubbed The Rollin’ Stoned Tour. The run will find the rising female stars bringing their powerhouse vocals and high-energy performances to cities across the U.S.

Craft is also set to join Luke Bryan for select dates on his Country Song Came On Tour this summer.

With each new release, Ashland Craft further proves why she’s a force to be reckoned with in the business of making authentic and genuine music.
