Blake Shelton joined forces with members of Team Blake on The Voice for a collaborative performance of a classic country hit.

The performance kicked off with Shelton singing the opening verse, “Southern nights/ Have you ever felt a southern night/ Free as a breeze/ Not to mention the trees/ Whistling tunes that you know and love so/ Southern nights/ Just as good even when closed your eyes/ I apologize/ To any one who can truly say/ That he’s found a better way.”

Shelton then gave each contestant the spotlight to showcase their unique vocal abilities while flawlessly harmonizing with each other.

“Southern Nights” was written by Allen Toussaint and appears on Toussaint’s 1975 album, Southern Nights and was later recorded and made famous by Glen Campbell. The tune was the first single from Campbell’s 1977 album of the same name and hit No. 1 on three different US charts.

Camila Cabello also teamed up with Devix, Morgan Myles and Eric Who to perform a cover of The Turtles’ “Happy Together,” a tune that was written by Garry Bonner and Alan Gordon and recorded by American rock band for the third studio album of the same name.

“Me and you, and you and me / No matter how they toss the dice, it had to be / The only one for me is you, and you for me / So happy together,” Team Camila sang in sync.

Gwen Stefani Reveals Why Blake Shelton Decided To Leave The Voice

This marks Shelton’s second to last season on The Voice. The country superstar is the longest-running coach and also the coach with the most wins.

Blake Shelton shocked The Voice fans when he announced plans to leave the show earlier this year.

“This show has changed my life in every way for the better and it will always feel like home to me,” he shared in a statement. “It’s been a hell of a ride over these 12 years of chair turns and I want to thank everyone at The Voice from NBC, every producer, the writers, musicians, crew and catering people, you are the best. It takes a lot of work, passion, and adult beverages (Ha!) to pull off a live show twice a week.”

He will return next season for his 23rd and final season alongside coaches Kelly Clarkson, Niall Horan and Chance The Rapper.
