Chayce Beckham made a surprise appearance during Pepsi’s Gulf Coast Jam in Panama City Beach, Florida.

On Sunday, June 6, during Luke Bryan’s headlining performance at Gulf Coast Jam, Bryan surprised fans with a special performance alongside American Idol winner, Chayce Beckham.

“Y’all give it up for Chayce,” Bryan said introducing their performance of “Huntin’, Fishin’ and Lovin’ Every Day.”

Following their performance of “Huntin’, Fishin’ and Lovin’ Every Day,” Bryan gave the stage to Beckham to perform his chart-topping debut single “23,” which the capacity crowd on the beach seemed to truly enjoy.

“Huntin’, Fishin’ and Lovin’ Every Day” is a song about Bryan’s rural Georgia lifestyle and was co-written Bryan. The track is the fourth single from Bryan’s fifth studio album, Kill the Lights (2015). While Beckham’s “23” is an autobiographical song that was produced by Ross Copperman at SoundFactory Recording Studio in Hollywood, California. The self-penned track is a very personal song to Beckham as he authentically sings about his life story and his past struggles with alcohol addiction.

Beckham and Bryan formed a friendship during their time on American Idol over the last few months. In fact, the country superstar even invited Beckham to his pond for a bass fishing trip, which they have not yet done together.

The “Waves” singer however has made an attempt to take him fishing to fulfill his promises but Beckham was busy with other obligations that come with winning American Idol, including interviews with Good Morning America, Live With Kelly & Ryan and performing “23” on Jimmy Kimmel Live, according to the Los Angeles Daily News.

“It’s gonna happen,” Chayce told the outlet. “He’s [Luke] already talking smack about he’s gonna catch the bigger fish. So I’m just gonna let that go, and then we’ll get out there and maybe do a little vlog or something about what happens.”

Additionally, Beckham is set to make his performance debut at Whiskey Jam on Monday, June 7 at 8 p.m. CT at Winners Bar in Nashville, Tennessee.
