“Most of you probably know me because of this next man I’m about to bring on stage,” the Kentucky native shared. “He’s one of the greatest musical artists that has ever lived.”

“Please make welcome my brother Justin Timberlake,” Stapleton added as the 10-time GRAMMY winner joined him on stage.

In a video captured by a concertgoer, the audience can be heard cheering and clapping loudly at the sight of Timberlake entering the stage. Click above to watch around the four-minute mark.

Timberlake hugged Morgane Stapleton and Chris Stapleton before addressing the crowd, “Can you hear me out there, Los Angeles?”

“You know what time it is Los Angeles,” Timberlake said as Stapleton sang, “It time to drink some whiskey.”

The pair then joined forces to sing the country classic, trading off verses throughout the song and harmonizing on the chorus as the audience sang along.

Stapleton shared photos of the unforgettable moment on Instagram. Timberlake was quick to reply, writing, “Love you, brother. Thanks for talking me into hopping up on a date night with wifey!!!! LA, thank you for the ❤️!!!!”
