In celebration of his Top 30 and climbing collaboration, “Thinking ‘Bout You” featuring Mackenzie Porter, Dustin Lynch caught up with Country Now to take part in a fun little game called Thinking ‘Bout You Country Edition.

In this exclusive clip, filmed before his Country Now Live concert, Lynch tells viewers what comes to mind – or who he thinks of – when hearing words like “Golf,” “Hair,” “Beer,” “Trucks,” “Red,” “Dirt Road,” and more. Name-checking stars like Dolly Parton, Darius Rucker, and Karen Fairchild of Little Big Town, to name a few, it’s clear to see that Lynch has been spending some quality time with his country cohorts.

“I think of Blake Shelton’s hideous mullet back in the day,” Lynch blurts out when thinking of the word “Hair.” “The OG.”

He then calls out Luke Bryan’s name after hearing the word “Beer,” saying, “I drank more than enough for life in the two years I was on tour with Luke.”

Aside from playing word-styled games, Lynch has been keeping pretty busy. The Tennessee native just dropped not one, but two new tracks – “Not Every Cowboy,” written by Casey Brown, Parker Welling, Conner Smith and Heather Morgan, and “Pasadena,” co-written with Jeff Hyde and Ryan Tyndell. Both songs, produced by Zach Crowell, offer up plenty of fiddle and follow the release of Lynch’s fourth album, Tullahoma.

“‘Not Every Cowboy’ and ‘Pasadena’ are just about that timeless, authentic, American cowboy love story. I’m very proud of how these songs captured that emotion in such a classic way,” Lynch shared of the twin tracks in a press release. “They felt special the day we created them, and I’m so excited that they’re now out where everyone can enjoy.”

Lynch is currently performing shows across the country with dates scheduled throughout the fall. Be sure to keep up with Lynch’s upcoming shows by checking out his official website here.
