Ella Langley shared a heartwarming moment with a young fan during her sold-out show at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles this week.
Langley has made a habit of spotting young fans in the crowd and inviting them to share a special moment with her onstage. This gives her a chance to connect with the next generation of fans and maybe even inspire them to always follow their dreams.
On this night, a girl named Mallory caught the country star’s attention in her Ella Langley T-shirt, denim skirt and pink fringe boots. Langley invited her up onstage and knelt down to speak with her, sharing a few words about experiencing growth in life, setting the tone for her next song in the set.

Mallory appeared to be as happy as can be standing next to the Alabama native. Langley put her arm around the girl and told her, “I don’t know if you’ve been enough versions of yourself to understand this,” she said with a laugh “But we understand growth and exciting things, don’t we?”
Langley then asked her, “You want to help me with this chorus?” Mallory nodded and the two of them delivered the powerful lyrics to “Butterfly Season” off her latest album, Dandelion. They traded lines of the chorus, with Mallory confidently singing along and earning cheers from the crowd.
“It’s butterfly season, I’m finding my wings/ A good time for leaving behind the old me/ Headed for blue skies and lavender fields/ Don’t know where I’m landing, just know how it feels/ When it’s time to fly,” they sang.

Once the chorus came to an end, Langley prompted the crowd to celebrate the young girl and her bravery to get up on stage, saying, “Y’all give it up for Mallory tonight.”
They shared a tight hug before Langley helped her off the stage and back into the crowd. This moment made for a night that Mallory likely won’t forget anytime soon.
Ella Langley’s Dandelion Tour picks back up on October 19 with a stop in Des Moines, IA, followed by shows in Nebraska and Minnesota.
