Gavin Adcock’s concerts tend to be on the rowdier side, but things were taken to a whole new level during a recent stop on his headline tour in Wichita, KS on August 21. His security team was forced to jump into action when an unruly fan found his way onto the stage, causing a chaotic scene to unfold in front of the country star and a sea of fans.

Adcock posted the video across social media noting that the fan apparently jumped the barricade at the concert. He can be heard introducing his next song when he suddenly stopped and looked to the side as a fan ran out from side stage.

Luckily, Adcock’s security immediately handled the situation. The troublemaker was immediately tackled by one member of security but continued to put up a strong fight. In the end it took about six members of staff and security combined to get the man under control.

The entire time this was ensuing on stage, the “Own Worst Enemy” singer stood calmly with his beer in one hand and mic in the other, appearing to be unbothered by the situation. He watched as the fan wrestled with the security guard, commenting things like “you better stop” while the crowd screamed in encouragement.

As the man was being escorted out, Adcock yelled, “Get his drunk a** out of here!”

“This is why we can’t have nice things,” he added in the caption.

Users in the comment section couldn’t help but praise the security for their quick actions.

“Gavin’s protected better than the president. 😂”

“Man’s security doesn’t play around 🤣”

“THE WAY HE TOOK HIM DOWN AND PUT HIM IN A DAMN CHOKE HOLD LIKE ITS UFC FIGHT NIGHT. UM OK”

“That security needs a raise 😂”

He then continued the show with “the wildest song” he’s got out right now, “Last One To Know.”

A few days after the mishap, Adcock returned to social media to ask if any fans had the full video of what went down in Kansas.

“So I don’t know if any of y’all have seen it but my security absolutely took a dude out this weekend. I’m trying to find the full video, so if you were in Wichita, Kansas and you got a full video of the dude jumping the barricade, send it my way,” he asked.

Even though Adcock seemed both amused and unfazed by the entire thing, he also emphasized in the latest video that anyone who attends a country concert “should not jump the barricade.”

This recent excitement came just a little over a week after Gavin Adcock dropped his sophomore album, Own Worst Enemy. In celebration of the new project, he invited fans to join him for an album release party at Two Foot Cove on Old Hickory Lake in Hendersonville, Tenn. Hundreds of friends and fans showed up to toast to Adcock’s next musical chapter. While floating on the water on a hot summer day, the fans were also treated to an exclusive first-time album listen with the rising country star himself.

The new album follows his groundbreaking debut, Actin’ Up Again, and gives listeners an inside look into his hard work ethic and candid storytelling. Today, August 25, Adcock revealed that in the short amount of time this collection has been out in the world, it has racked up an impressive 41 million streams.

“Thank you to everybody who listened,” he wrote on X.

Gavin Adcock is currently in the midst of his Need To Tour. The trek launched in May and has dates scheduled through December, when he’s set to wrap things up with a final show in Las Vegas, NV.

Additionally, he’s serving as an opening act on select dates of Morgan Wallen’s I’m The Problem tour.
