The guys of Hot Country Knights made their debut on the Bobby Bones Show on Wednesday morning (Jan. 29) and performed an epic medley honoring some of country music’s most iconic female artists.

While in-studio with host and multi-media personality Bobby Bones, Hot Country Knights covered Shania Twain’s “Man! I Feel Like A Woman!,” Reba McEntire and Linda Davis’ “Does He Love You” and Mary Chapin Carpenter’s “Down At The Twist And Shout” and “I Feel Lucky.”

After their performance, HCK opened up about how they formed, how they got their record deal and their new single, “Pick Her Up,” featuring Travis Tritt.

Lead singer  Douglas “Doug” Douglason also divulged more details about the group’s upcoming album.

“We’re gonna go out there and do some original songs,” he explained. “We’ve got some great songs on here, meaningful songs. Like ‘You Make It Hard,” a nice duet with Terri Clark.”

When co-host Amy Brown interjected with a laugh, Douglason clarified, “What? You make it hard for me to leave the room, what are you talking about, Amy?”

Hot Country Knights is comprised of Douglason and lead bass player Trevor Travis, lead guitarist Marty Ray (“Rayro”) Roburn, keytar/fiddle player Terotej (“Terry”) Dvoraczekynski, steel guitarist Barry Van Ricky and percussionist Monte Montgomery.
