New videos have surfaced of an incident that occurred at a recent Jason Aldean concert where a fan was forcibly removed from the crowd and ushered out by local police and the country star’s security.
On July 25, Aldean was performing on stage in Savannah, GA, when a fan in the pit seemingly tried to jump on stage unprompted in the middle of a song. Luckily, security jumped into action quickly and were able to carry the man off stage before he caused any further problems.
Aldean was just a few feet away from the unruly fan, but that didn’t stop him from finishing out the performance. He then turned to look at the chaos unfolding around him and walked away from the mic with his hands in the air. According to a fan who captured the moment on video, the singer can be heard saying “Well that’s got to be the dumbest thing he’s ever done in his life.”
The concert seemed to proceed as normal following this interruption.

Highway Desperado Tour Kicks Off A New Leg
The “Let Your Boys Be Country” singer is just a few weeks into his Highway Desperado Tour. He kicked off the latest leg of the trek in New York and will continue bringing his hit-filled setlist to stages across the U.S. before bringing things to a close on October 5, with a hometown show in Macon, GA.
Joining him on the road are special guests Hailey Whitters and Lauren Alaina in select cities as well as Chase Matthew, Austin Snell, and Dee Jay Silver across all dates.
At the time of the announcement, Chase Matthew wrote, “This is a dream come true to tour with you! – thank you for the opportunity 🙌🙌🙌🔥🔥🔥” while Austin Snell boasted, “Can’t wait to get out there with ya. Thanks again for having us 🤘🙏”
The tour comes in support of his 11th studio album, HIGHWAY DESPERADO, which dropped on November 3, 2023. The 14-track project features the 3X ACM Entertainer of the Year winner’s breakthrough Hot 100 chart-topping single “Try That In A Small Town,” which has since earned him his 28th career No. 1 single at Country radio, as well as his prideful single, “Let Your Boys Be Country.”
New Single – “Whiskey Drink”
On July 29, Aldean is expected to send the track “Whiskey Drink” to country radio as his newest single. While discussing this tune, Aldean admits it “set the tone” for his HIGHWAY DESPERADO album and acted as a “pivotal” moment in his creative process because it was something so “cool” and “different” that it helped point him in the direction of where he wanted the rest of the collection to go sonically.
“It’s new territory for us a little bit, like it’s familiar but not the same. I just remember falling in love with that song. When the chorus hits, all of a sudden, I’m all in. The chorus is where the money’s at.”

Lyrically, it offers a clever perspective of Aldean having a conversation with the drink that he has reunited with once again in an attempt to mend his fresh heartbreak.
“Hey, whiskey drink/ I know it’s been a while/ I gotta talk to you, gotta catch you up/ On the hell I’m in right now/ Yeah, whiskey drink/ Now, you won’t believe/ The things I said, the way she left/ The way the leavin’ all went down,” he begins.
The song intensifies as Aldean explains his desire to numb the pain of losing the love interest. He hopes that by returning to the liquor, he won’t think about “who she’s with or where she is or how bad I miss her.” But the whiskey isn’t the only drug he’s using as cigarettes also come into play in an attempt to “smoke out that regret” that he’s holding onto.
After taking in all the song has to offer, it’s clear why Aldean dubbed it an “earworm” because it’s got an addictive melody that makes it hard to get it out of your head and lyrics that will ring painfully true to many people’s personal experiences with breakups.
