Jason Aldean made an appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers on Tuesday (July 28), serving up a remote performance of his latest single, “Got What I Got.”

The superstar reunited with several members of his band to perform a stripped-down version of the song from the backyard of his stunning new home, which sits on acreage just outside of Nashville, Tenn. With his resort-style pool in the background, Aldean delivered a flawless performance of the tenderhearted tune.

“Got What I Got” is the follow-up to “We Back” and is the latest single from the superstar’s new album, 9.

“When I first heard ‘Got What I Got’ it reminded me of something Boyz II Men would do…almost like a 90’s R&B throwback song,” Aldean previously shared in a statement. “It’s just not something you really hear in country music that much…plus, now more than ever, I think we’re all just being reminded how to appreciate the people we love.”

The Georgia native recently released a music video for the tune, showcasing his life at home with his wife, Brittany, their children, Navy and Memphis, as well as his children from a previous marriage, Kendyl and Keeley.

“Got What I Got” was produced by Aldean’s longtime collaborator Michael Knox and was co-written by Thomas Archer, Alex Palmer and Michael Tyler.
