Kane Brown is keeping traditional country music alive with his new song, “Like I Love Country Music” and it’s destined to become the song of summer 2022!

The country superstar just revealed plans to release the ‘90s country-infused track as his next single to country radio.

Brown shared the news via social media on Monday evening (April 18) alongside a video of himself dancing in the kitchen to the song with his eldest daughter, Kingsley. While sporting matching cowboy hats, Kane and Kingsley have a full-on dance party while grooving to the anthemic melody.

Brown’s caption reads:

“3 things!

1: This will be the new radio single (like I love country music)

2: thank you, @brooksanddunn 🔥

3: this little girl is too damn cute ❤️”

The uptempo banger finds Brown name-dropping country music icons like Brooks & Dunn while comparing a relationship to his love for the country genre.

While it’s unclear if this is a collaboration with Brooks & Dunn, Ronnie Dunn’s signature vocals can be heard alongside Brown during one of the track’s choruses.

“You got me feeling like I’m a Brand New Man,” Brown sings before Dunn chimes in singing “oh, I’m a Brand New Man.”

Kane Brown previously collaborated with Brooks & Dunn on the duo’s 2019 REBOOT album. Brown was the featured artist on the reprise of Brooks & Dunn’s CMA Award-winning song, “Believe.”

In March of 2019, Brown teased “Like I Love Country Music” with a different chorus that pays tribute to country music legends, Alan Jackson, Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash.

The video shows Brown name-dropping Jackson and one of his most iconic hits, “Chattahoochee.” He also mentions Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash as well as lyrics from Cash’s signature hit, “I Walk The Line.”

“Girl you done and done it to me / hotter than a Hoochie Coochie / got me like the first time I heard Alan Jackson’s Chattahoochee / I was never the same again / I’m a lifelong fan,” Brown sings in the clip. ”Yes, I am / baby, I love you like I love country music / you get me high pretty girl / you get me gone as gone / you turn me on as much I turn on my radio / Let’s take our time, walk the line kind of like Johnny and June did / yeah, let’s do this / baby, I love you like I love country music.”

In March, the Platinum-selling star revealed that his album is “done” and that it went off for mastering.

The project will serve as the follow-up to 2020’s Mixtape Vol. 1, which produced hits like “Cool Again,” “Worship You,” and “Be Like That.”

Kane Brown’s new album is expected to include his latest chart-topping single, “One Mississippi,” and his newest release, “Leave You Alone.”

The Tennessee native will soon launch the next leg of his Blessed & Free Tour with his first-ever stadium concert in his hometown of Chattanooga.

No release date has been set for “LIke I Love Country Music,” however, it is available for pre-save now HERE.
