Kelsea Ballerini recently teamed up with pop singer/songwriter Halsey for an episode of CMT Crossroads and the network is giving fans a sneak peek of the big show before it premieres in March.
Watch the clip above to see the superstars join forces on “Graveyard,” which served as the second single from Halsey’s third studio album, Manic, released on January 17.
“The song is about being in love with someone who is in a bad place and loving them so much that you don’t realize that you’re going to that bad place with them,” Halsey previously told Billboard of the song. “It’s also about learning to care about yourself enough not to follow them there.”
Halsey and Ballerini’s episode of the hit show, which was filmed during a special public outdoor taping at the Ascend Amphitheatre in downtown Nashville, marked the 70th episode of the long-standing CMT series, which has featured one-of-a-kind pairings of artists such as: Bon Jovi and Sugarland; Kelly Clarkson and Reba McEntire; Def Leppard and Taylor Swift; John Mayer and Keith Urban; Steven Tyler and Carrie Underwood; Stevie Nicks and Lady Antebellum; Katy Perry and Kacey Musgraves; and Alicia Keys and Maren Morris.
CMT Crossroads: Halsey & Kelsea Ballerini will premiere Wednesday, March 25 at 10 PM ET/PT on CMT.
