The Lady A concert on Sunday, August 8 at Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre in St. Louis was quite the family affair. The band’s leading Lady, Hillary Scott, surprised music-goers with an unexpected duet with her eight-year-old daughter, Eisele Kaye Tyrrell.

Following performances from Carly Pearce, Niko Moon, and Tenille Arts – the award-winning trio opened their highly anticipated set with their women empowerment anthem “Like A Lady.” Hillary Scott, Charles Kelley, and Dave Haywood brought down the house by pulling tracks from their critically acclaimed studio albums and showcasing new music off their recently released record, What A Song Can Do (Chapter One.)

Scott and Kelley took turns taking the lead on vocals throughout the set, as Haywood backed the group with his dynamic guitar work. After bouncing from hit to hit, Scott ran off stage to pull her oldest daughter under the spotlight.

While sporting coordinating dresses, Scott introduced her daughter to thousands of screaming fans. “Ladies and gentlemen, this is Eisele Kay Tyrrell,” says the proud mother. Standing hand in hand, Scott kicked off the mother-daughter duet to Amy Grant’s “Baby, Baby.”

Before Eisele showcased her vocal range, Scott cued her in with words of encouragement and a quick point to start singing her part. Similar to her talented mother, she began her verse strong and with confidence.

The aspiring vocalist sang straight into her turquoise bejeweled microphone, as Scott danced and sang along behind her. However, it was the way she tackled the difficult key change in “Baby, Baby” that left her mother and the rest of Lady A speechless.

Right after the impressive note, Scott drew her daughter in for a tight hug. It didn’t take long for the co-ed band to share the memorable moment on social media. “St. Louis, you came to party!!! Eisele definitely stole the show and we loved making memories with all of you #WhatASongCanDoTour 📸 @hodgesusry,” Lady A captioned the video and a carousel of photos Monday afternoon (Aug.9).

Eisele has been following in her mother’s musical footsteps for quite some time, as Scott introduced her to the world of entertainment from a very young age. While many A-listers in the industry hide their children from the limelight, Scott has taken her three kids along for the ride.

As the daughter of successful singer Linda Davis, Hillary grew up listening to music and watching her parents on stage. “I had the same upbringing with both my parents being in music and traveling, and watching my mom and dad on stage, and so I look forward to those moments,” shared the hitmaker to Country Thang Daily

Now, Scott is teaching her daughter everything she knows and helping her find her passion for music. Eisele is typically glued to her mom’s side, playing dress-up backstage, or even singing “Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star” to her twin baby sisters to help calm them down.

“She’s watching everything I do, everything I say, even the way I stand in photos. I want her to stand confident, like the individual, beautiful spirit that she is,” Scott tells People about being a supportive role model for her oldest daughter.
