Little Big Town performed their latest single “Wine, Beer, Whiskey” on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Monday (July 13).
Fallon hosted The Tonight Show from a modified Studio 6A in 30 Rock for the first time in four months, since the novel coronavirus pandemic shut down New York City. The late-night host had himself, his house band, The Roots, and a limited crew for the taping in which they will continue to do when filming in the studio.
The award-winning country group, which consists of Karen Fairchild, Kimberly Schlapman, Phillip Sweet and Jimi Westbrook, performed the feel-good summer song from the comfort of their own homes.
“Wine, Beer, Whiskey” was co-written by Little Big Town alongside Tofer Brown and Sean McConnell. The song is featured on the quartet’s ninth studio album, Nightfall, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart in January.
Fallon’s first guests back on the show included Charlize Theron and New York Governor, Andrew Cuomo, who in a Zoom video interview welcomed him back to the show saying “New York is really open now that you’re doing your show again.” Fans can watch the full interview with Governor Cuomo below.
