Luke Bryan on American Idol

Luke Bryan has all “The Right Stuff” and he proved it during Monday’s (March 29) episode of American Idol on ABC.

In a hilarious clip shared on social media, the country superstar is seen dancing and singing along to New Kids On The Block’s smash hit “You Got It (The Right Stuff).”

Fellow Idol judge Katy Perry returns to the set to find Bryan playfully preoccupied while singing the NKOTB classic.

“I leave for five minutes…”Perry jokes. Then tells him, “You’re gonna slip a disk bro” as he thrusts his hips similar to Donnie Wahlberg and his cohorts.

Bryan can be heard laughing in the background.

“You Got It (The Right Stuff)” was released in 1988 and is the second single from New Kids On The Block’s sophomore album, Hangin’ Tough.

American Idol returned on Sunday and Monday for the Showstopper/ Final Judgement round to reveal this season’s Top 24 contestants.

Bryan and Perry were on set for this round, while Lionel Richie watched from home.

American Idol returns to ABC next Sunday and Monday at 8/7 c for the celebrity duets round.
