Luke Combs gave a rowdy three-song performance during Thursday evening’s star-studded CMA Summer Jam. 

The chart-topping singer/songwriter performed a pair of his latest hits including “Beer Never Broke My Heart” and “Forever After All” before going into his current single, “Cold As You.”

“You know it’s obviously gonna be a high energy set,” Combs said ahead of the performance. “Ya know, it’s a couple of songs man we’re gonna come out. I’m bringing my buddy Jimmie Allen out, which is gonna be really exciting. He’ll get to sing for everybody. I’m a huge fan of his. I’m just looking forward to it man. I’m looking forward to energy and drink some beers, drink some drinks, you know, throw some drinks on some people probably it’ll be fun.”

CMA Summer Jam also featured performances from Jimmie Allen, Gabby Barrett, Dierks Bentley, Brothers Osborne, Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Darius Rucker, Florida Georgia Line, Mickey Guyton, Miranda Lambert, Carly Pearce, Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani, Cole Swindell, Thomas Rhett, Carrie Underwood, and Lainey Wilson.

Additionally, the three-hour show included star-studded collaborations by Bentley with HARDY & BRELAND, Underwood and Dwight Yoakam, Lambert with Brothers Osborne, Florida Georgia Line feat. Rhett, newlyweds Shelton and Stefani, as well as Swindell & Bryan. 

CMA Summer Jam aired on Thursday, September 2 (live 8:00-11:00 PM ET) on ABC.
